Megan Fox has confessed she HATES being told she is sexy?

Gorgeous Transformers star Megan Fox has confessed she HATES being told she is sexy.

Determined to play down any hint of arrogance, the 23-yearold actress believes her current status of Hollywood's most beautiful screen star is all down to luck.

In a rare revealing interview, Megan Fox told The People: "I just don't like being called sexy, it embarrasses me.

"I'm in a situation where I get lots of compliments all the time. I'm very lucky. People tell me that I am beautiful and that I am sexy all day but I hate it.

"I don't know how to react. It's embarrassing. How would you feel if people called you the most sexy person in the world ALL day? It's strange, you know."

The American beauty turned British heads last week when she appeared in London for the premiere of her latest movie Tranformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

Megan Fox once again plays mechanic Mikaela Banes in director Michael Bay's sequel to his £350million-grossing sci-fi hit Transformers in 2007.

The Tennessee brunette looks drop-dead gorgeous as she and co-star Shia LaBeouf, 23, get caught up in a fresh robot war between the good-guy Autobots and the evil Decepticons. But the actress, who constantly tops polls on Hollywood's sexiest women, says all the fuss about her looks is undeserved.

She says: "I'm not sure if I deserve to win all these awards for sexiest female or most beautiful woman in the world, honestly.

"I got lucky because I was picked to be in The Transformers movie and it was a successful movie which made hundreds of millions of dollars and that meant my image went all around the world.

"There are tons of actresses out there that are more talented and more beautiful than me but who weren't picked for the movie.

"And because of that they didn't have the opportunity to go around the world and have people take their photos and see their image on posters and on movie trailers. I'm just very lucky."

Lucky But despite her face being plastered on every billboard and glossy magazine front cover, Megan Fox is determined to maintain an air of mystery and hit out at actresses who over-expose themselves.

She said: "I try not to do too many interviews because I think that if people know too much about your life then why would they pay seven dollars to watch you in a movie.

"Too many young actors and young actresses in Hollywood live their private lives in front of the camera and when you go to the movies you don't know who you are really watching.

"I prefer to keep an air of mystery about me like the old Hollywood stars.

"But it's tough. You want to promote the movie but you don't want to give too much of yourself away. I hate reading and watching bull**** interviews and watching these created images, these things that people present to you on TV that you know are fake and manufactured and I am trying not to be one of those."

The outspoken star - whose mum divorced her dad while she was young - has also attracted attention for her controversial views on drug use and came under fire when she said cannabis should be legalised.
