Spearswould be accompanying mini magic show?

Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is a Grammy Award-winning American pop singer and entertainer.

Raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. In 1997, Spears signed a recording contract with Jive, releasing her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. The album established her as a pop icon and "bona fide pop phenomenon", credited for influencing the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s.Spears released her sixth studio album Circus on her 27th birthday in December 2008.

Sort of like a wayward career, Britney Spears is going to disappear into thin air—and then magically reappear, to her fans' ecstatic delight.

"Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she's so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it," illusionist-comedian Ed Alonzo, "the Misfit of Magic" (and former Saved by the Bell diner owner) who will be doing a number with Spears on her Circus tour, tells E! News.

The pop star will serve as Alonzo's assistant in the bit.

"We're going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech," he said. "We'll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance—and if I do a trick, she doesn't just hold the props, she's actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up."

Sounds a bit risky, which is perhaps why Team Spears decided to leave the tricks to a professional.

I "made [the tricks] really easy for her...but there are some complicated things that she is doing that you would think a contortionist would have to do, or a trained magician's assistant," Alonzo said. "But because...she's a dancer, it really makes sense to put her in the magic, and it works and she's really, really good at it."

"Some of it's pretty scary, but she gets right in there with no reservations," he added.

Alonzo wouldn't divulge which Spears tunes would be accompanying his mini magic show, but—news flash—he did assure us that the overall show will feature "the best music of Britney that people have loved over the years and, of course, brand-new favorites from the new album."

And, like us, Alonzo has only seen Spears in warm-up clothes and sneakers during rehearsals, although she has been testing out different pairs of heels here and there.

The three-ring circus-inspired set is "exactly what you would see in a big giant Vegas production show, but it's going to be on the road," he said, and anywhere from 75 to 100 crew members and performers are usually around at any given time.

"It's going to be an amazing concert for people to watch," he said. "It's like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this."

For info,

Spears is ranked as the eighth best-selling female recording artist in the United States with 32 million sold albums certified by the Recording Industry Association of America and one of the world's best-selling music artists having sold an estimated 85 million records worldwide. Spears also holds the title to multiple Guinness World Records.

Zhang Ziyi- Celebrate birthday in Berlin?

Zhang Ziyi- celebrate birthday in Berlin?
Zhang Ziyi
(Chinese: 章子怡, pinyin: Zhāng Zǐyí) (born February 9, 1979) is one of the best-known Chinese film actresses, with a string of Chinese and international hits to her name. Zhang is considered one of the Four Young Dan actresses (四小花旦) in China, along with Zhao Wei, Xu Jinglei, and Zhou Xun. She has worked with renowned directors such as Zhang Yimou, Ang Lee, Wong Kar-Wai, Chen Kaige, Seijun Suzuki and Rob Marshall.

Soon after Zhang's debut in Zhang Yimou's The Road Home, rumors arose regarding a possible affair between the actress and the older director. Zhang Yimou was previously involved in an extramarital affair with actress Gong Li, whom he similarly debuted and with whom Zhang Ziyi was quickly compared. However, a relationship between the two remains unconfirmed.

Hong Kong and Taiwanese media have often pushed at ties between Zhang and co-star Jackie Chan. This was fueled in part by photos that emerged of the pair during celebrations of Chan's birthday on the set of Rush Hour 2.

Zhang for a while was publicly linked with Fok Kai-shan, grandson of Hong Kong business tycoon Henry Fok.

In the July 2006 issue of Interview Magazine, Zhang Ziyi spoke of her movies' contents and being careful about the roles she take on, especially in Hollywood.

Yes. Otherwise I could have done a lot of Hollywood movies. After Crouching Tiger I got a lot of offers, but I turned them down because they were all victim roles--poor girls sold to America to be a wife or whatever. I know I have the ability to go deeper, to take on more original roles than that. That's why I really appreciated Geisha, because it allowed us to show the world what kind of actors we are and what kind of characters we can play--not just action, kick-ass parts.

She stated in an early interview that if she had not become an actress, she would have liked to have been a kindergarten teacher, as she "...love[s] children!"

In January 2007, Zhang was spotted holding hands and kissing her new partner at a New York basketball game. The man was identified as Israeli multi-millionaire and venture capitalist, Vivi Nevo. The two were again seen together at an Oscar party in Los Angeles. Nevo, who has previously been tied to model Kate Moss, is a major shareholder in Time Warner and an early backer of The Weinstein Company with whom Zhang is purported to have a multi-film deal. Zhang Ziyi and Nevo are currently engaged, and are planning on getting married in March, 2009, according to Nevo.

"Forever Enthralled" actress Zhang Ziyi is scheduled to appear on the red carpet for the film's screening event on February 10, 2009 during the 59th annual Berlin International Film Festival.

Zhang will also celebrate her 30th birthday on Feb. 9 in Berlin.

The art-house film "Forever Enthralled" directed by Chen Kaige is a biopic of Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang. Zhang plays Mei's fellow singer Meng Xiaodong.

"Forever Enthralled" is the only Chinese-language film in competition for the Golden Bear, the Berlin festival's top honor.
