Chris Brown get five years probation and 180 hours community labor?

A Los Angeles Superior Court sentenced R&B artist Chris Brown to five years probation and 180 hours community labor, as a result of a plea agreement that kept him from doing jail time, People Magazine reports. Rihanna never made it to the stand and was never called to testify.

Christopher Maurice Brown (born May 5, 1989)is an American recording artist and actor. Brown made his recording debut in late 2005 with Chris Brown at the age of 16. The album featured the hit single "Run It!", which topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Brown the first male artist to have his debut single to top the chart

Brown was charged with two counts of felony assault and making criminal threats stemming from an altercation that left his former girlfriend, Rihanna, bruised and battered on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.

Officials decided to banTV cameras and crews from the courtroom in efforts to keep the testimony from becoming a media blitz.

Brown pleaded guilty to two felony counts of assault by means likely to cause bodily great injury.

"I want Mr. Brown to be treated the same as any other defendant who would come into this court. That means something like Caltrans [trash pickup] or graffiti removal, and a two-week domestic violence program," said L.A Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg.

The court also ordered Brown to keep his distance from Rihanna and stay at least 50 yards away from the pop star with the exception of industry events, which he is required to stay 10 yards away. The restraining order was put in place despite Rihanna's lawyers bid to allow the two to be in the same place at the same time.

According to court documents, Brown was enraged with Rihanna when she confronted him about text messages from another woman. When the argument escalated, he allegedly punched her in the face repeatedly with is left fist while driving a Lamborghini down an L.A. highway.

Brown allegedly told her, "I'm going to beat the s--- out of you when we get home. You wait and see!" Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there." The police notes say that prompted Brown to reply: "You just did the stupidest thing ever. Now I'm really going to kill you."

If Brown violates the terms of his probation, he could potentially serve four years in jail.

Chris Brown - I did not assault Rihanna!

Chris Brown - I did not assault Rihanna!
Chris Brown
stepped out of an elevator Monday afternoon with the stride and attire of a runway model. He wore a monochromatic ensemble -- tight black cardigan over a black shirt and tie. His hands were deep in the pockets of black trousers and he stared straight ahead, ignoring the stares of those he passed.

Only the expression of his mother, who trailed after him grim-faced, and the presence of an attorney, who stepped confidently at his side, suggested he was strolling toward a judge's bench.

Within moments of the hearing, a lawyer for Rihanna said the singer was hoping a plea deal could be reached before the case goes to trial. "She would be pleased if this was over quickly," attorney Donald Etra said. He reiterated that Rihanna would testify if required.

Brown was charged in March by Los Angeles County prosecutors with felony assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats. He was arrested nearly a month earlier after police said he was involved in an early morning altercation with a woman who identified the "Run It!" singer as her attacker.

Court records list Brown's victim as "Robyn F." Rihanna's real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

Etra represented the 21-year-old "Umbrella" singer at Monday's arraignment, but did not speak during the five-minute hearing. He said afterward that that the singer is in "fine spirits" and spending time with her family in Barbados.

Etra said Brown's plea was "totally expected."

If convicted, Brown could be sentenced to probation or nearly five years in prison.

Neither side has publicly addressed Brown and Rihanna's relationship since the incident.

But there has been discernible fallout and backlash since Brown's arrest.

Neither singer performed at the Grammy Awards hours after the alleged beating, and both were also no-shows for the Kids' Choice Awards show March 28.

Sponsors have stopped using Brown, some radio stations have stopped playing his music and some broadcasters have even started playing an anti-Chris Brown song created by the little-known dance group Smoke Jumpers.

Brown left the courthouse with his mother, two bodyguards and an entourage. On his way out, he had to walk through a phalanx of cameras. He was picked up by a car in front of the courthouse.

Geragos offered no comment and quickly left the courthouse with his client.Chris Brown pleaded not guilty Monday to threatening and assaulting his girlfriend, fellow music star Rihanna.

The 19-year-old R&B singer entered his plea, speaking in a soft voice, while standing alongside his lawyer, Mark Geragos. His mother sat in the first row, red-eyed.

Rihanna give cooperation to Police...

Rihanna give cooperation to Police...

Rihanna (pronounced /riːˈɑːnə/, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988), is a Barbadian singer. She also serves as the cultural ambassador for Barbados. She is the first Barbadian artist to win a Grammy Award.Rihanna is currently signed to the Def Jam Recordings label. She has attained five Billboard Hot 100 number ones thus far ("SOS", "Umbrella", "Take a Bow", "Disturbia" and T.I.'s "Live Your Life").

Rihanna broke into the recording industry in 2005 with the release of her debut album, Music of the Sun, which features the hit single "Pon de Replay". Less than a year later, Rihanna released A Girl Like Me and earned her first number-one single, "SOS". In 2007, Rihanna released her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad. The album has yielded seven singles, including "Umbrella", "Don't Stop the Music", and "Take a Bow".

According to the Los Angeles Times, Rihanna is assisting investigators with their case against Chris Brown. The 20-year-old singer is helping the authorities build a domestic violence case against Brown, her boyfriend.

According to police, Rihanna - whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty - left a pre-Grammy Awards party with bruises and a scratch to her face. Some are reporting that her injuries were quite severe. She was treated at a "major medical facility," said a police source.

The alleged assault may have begun in the vehicle - a rented Lamborghini - that Brown was driving. Witnesses said they heard a loud confrontation. One of them reportedly called 911. The Lamborghini has now been impounded.

As we previously reported, Brown is currently facing criminal threats, though the L.A.'s district attorney's office may decide to charge him with additional crimes. That decision may depend, in part, on Rihanna and what she tells the authorities.

Woman identified Brown as her attacker??

Chris is being investigated by the LAPD for an alleged domestic violence felony battery that occurred early this morning near Hancock Park in L.A. Police officials said earlier today they may arrest Brown when they found him. Well, now they know where he is.
Christopher Maurice Brown (born May 5, 1989) is a Grammy-nominated American R&B and pop singer-songwriter, dancer, music video director and actor. He made his recording debut in late 2005 with Chris Brown at the age of 16. The album featured the hit single "Run It!", which topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Brown the first male artist to have his debut single to top the chart. The album has sold over two million copies in the United States and was certified double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

According to the female victim -- who cops refuse to identify -- she and Chris got into an argument which turned violent. Cops say when they arrived to the scene, Brown had split, but the woman had "visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna were together earlier last night, attending Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party -- and both canceled their scheduled performances at tonight's event.

Brown is currently being interviewed by detectives.
